EBC is an independent Grace Baptist Church that holds reformed Baptist theology and is part of the Grace Baptist Association. We are a village church committed to loving God, loving people and living a life for God’s glory within our community.
Mark: Who is Jesus?
On Sunday mornings we shall be preaching through the gospel of Mark as we look at the identity of Jesus. Over 7 Sundays we shall continue to explore Mark’s gospel from chapter 4 through to chapter 6. This will take us up to Christmas.
Mark’s gospel starts with Mark 1:1 “The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God”. Mark tells us upfront who Jesus is and then spends the next eight chapters unpacking the identity of Jesus.
Here at Edlesborough Baptist Church we are a family church who meet regularly to worship God, pray together, listen to the Bible being read, explained, illustrated and applied into our everyday lives. We believe the Bible is important as we read God’s word revealed to us through the person and work of Jesus Christ.
We are made up of people from all walks of life, from different seasons in life and differing ages. We love speaking of Jesus and encouraging one another as we seek to grow together in life.
Mid-week Bible Study on Wednesday @ EBC
We meet every Wednesday evening for Bible Study and prayer @ 7:30pm. Currently we are exploring the gospel of Mark with study questions relating to each chapter of the gospel. This Bible study series will be discussional Bible studies where we dig deeper into the Bible text and seek to draw principles that will apply to our everyday lives now.
