We are a village church committed to loving God, loving people and living a life for God’s glory within our community.
Ruth: The Outsider
On Sunday mornings we shall be preaching through the book of Ruth, an Old Testament book that is full of relevance today as it was 3,000 years ago. Ruth teaches us the providence of God at work through family life, tough decisions and choices we make, the grace of God working in the lives of unlikely people and a God who delights to see His purposes work out in lives of ordinary people.
This autumn we shall exploring the book of Ruth through seven sermons and going deeper in our mid-week discussional Bible study.
Here at Edlesborough Baptist Church we are a family church who meet regularly to worship God, pray together, listen to the Bible being read, explained, illustrated and applied into our everyday lives. We believe the Bible is important as we read God’s word revealed to us through the person and work of Jesus Christ.
We are made up of people from all walks of life, from different seasons in life and differing ages. We love speaking of Jesus and encouraging one another as we seek to grow together in life.
Mid-week Bible Study on Wednesday @ EBC
We meet every Wednesday evening for Bible Study and prayer @ 7:30pm. Currently we are exploring the book of Ruth using the Good Book Company study guide. This Bible study series will be discussional Bible studies where we dig deeper into the Bible text and seek to draw principles that will apply to our everyday lives now.
